Dead Space 3: Co-op revival
Having played the previous two Dead Space games, playing through Dead Space 3 in co-op is a little odd. Deaths in the first two Dead Spaces are kind of... final. There's really no mistaking that you died. Besides the telltale screen that reads "you died", you can often tell Isaac has died when his upper torso is no longer attached to his lower torso. But in Dead Space 3 co-op, you have the option to revive your partner from a dying status (which admittedly a lot of games do now). So I'm finding that death kind of sneaks up on me. Since I can be revived, I don't pay as much attention to my health and some projectiles are practically invisible, so it seems that I've been hurt by stubbing my toe on a sharp corner... But maybe it's just because I tend to play a little more recklessly when playing in co-op?
So you guys can expect a full review of Dead Space 3 a little later. I haven't really had the time to dedicate to playing the game since I'll be at the Emerald City Comicon in the beginning of March. So if you're in the Seattle area March 1st through the 3rd stop by and say hi!
