Have you ever wanted to work in video games? Well that's what the guys at GameBizCo Inc. do. Literally.

Join the cast of Another Videogame Webcomic as we peek behind the curtain to see what exactly goes into bringing your favorite video games to the small screen. It may be a job in video games, but it's still a job.

I Wanna take you for a ride

The rerelease of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 is officially the worst kept secret in recent video game history. I think Capcom's rerelease of the fan-favorite arcade classic as a downloadable game is a perfect opportunity to extend the game with more characters. (Plus Capcom could nickel and dime us by releasing each character as paid downloadable content! It's a win-win for everybody!) So I put together my top 10 list of characters I'd like to see make an appearance in a Capcom Vs game. Sure, adding these characters might ruin the balance of the game, but honestly was the game really all that balanced to begin with?

Marvel characters

Mr. Fantastic - I always thought out of all of Marvel's superhero teams, the one that was most underrepresented was the Fantastic Four. Sure, the "4" symbol on their chests used to cause a little problem when the sprites are flipped, but surely 10 years later we've solved that problem, right? But out of the four, I think Mr. Fantastic would be the most fun to play. Plus who wouldn't want to see his Ultimate Nullifier hyper combo?
Sentry - Sure, it might be a little unbelievable that someone like Cammy could beat the Sentry, but wouldn't it be fun to see his hyper combo where he throws his opponent into the sun? Plus, Capcom would be able to do a palette swap and have the Void as a playable character! Or even have him be able to switch between the Sentry and the Void on the fly a la Gen or Ryu/Ken/Akuma in Marvel Vs Capcom.
Thor - I imagine Thor would play something like a cross between Venom and Storm. He'd be strong yet somewhat agile like Venom yet be able to call down columns of lightning that would strike your opponent down from across the screen. Plus, Capcom already has a few frames of animation done from his appearance in Marvel Vs Capcom as a helper character.
Phoenix - I'm talking the original Jean Grey Phoenix from the Uncanny X-men in the 70s and 80s. I have no idea how she'd actually play, I just like the costume. Seriously, it's almost to a fetishistic degree. I think I might need help.
The Hood - The Hood is a character that's gained prominence in the past few years thanks to his appearances in the New Avengers. His normal attacks would look pretty cool with the his cape flapping around. Plus it'd be nice for Marvel's mystical side to be represented by someone other than Shuma Gorath.

Capcom characters

Dante (Devil May Cry) - The over-the-top protagonist of three and a half of the games in the Devil May Cry series, would be a perfect fit for any fighting game. He's got the guns for projectiles, the swords for melee... I'd like to see his Devil Trigger form as a timed hyper combo where you'd be stronger and have super armor. And again, you could have a palette swapped Dante as Nero, the over-the-top protagonist for half a game in the Devil May Cry series!
Phoenix Wright - I think just the idea of Phoenix Wright showing your opponent the contradiction in his or her logic and having it do damage in a hyper combo is hilarious, strange and a perfect fit for the Vs series. Also, I think his "Objection!" special move would be an instantaneous projectile that appears on various parts of the screen depending on what button is pressed.
The plane from 1941 - How can a classic Capcom arcade game like 1941 not be represented in Marvel Vs Capcom 2? I'm not sure at all how a plane would play but who wouldn't want to see a plane shoot down Iron Man?
Albert Wesker (Resident Evil) - Panther Fang! Mustang Kick! Cobra strike! They've already come up with the names for all of Wesker's potential moves in Resident Evil 5... why not just reuse them in a fighting game? Playing as Wesker in the Mercenaries minigame from Resident Evil 5 has sold me on how fun he'd be in a Capcom fighting game.
Jacques (Onimusha 3) - I really want Jean Reno to be badass again. Remember when he was badass?
So there you have it. My top ten list of characters I want to see in Marvel Vs Capcom 2. I'd invite you guys to challenge me in the demo on PSN, but it was someone's bright idea to only include local multiplayer on the demo. Oh well... I guess it'll have to wait until the game is released sometime this summer.

Player Two

After the resurgence of multiplayer co-op, GameBizCo Inc. hired Player Two to be the Goose to someone else's Maverick. His workload isn't quite as heavy as most of the other people working at GameBizCo Inc. and as a result, he spends a lot of time in the break room or playing computer solitaire.

Player One

Player One is top dog at GameBizCo Inc. Nearly every game, from Pong to Mario Bros to Grand Theft Auto, requires Player One's expertise. His cocksure and sometimes inappropriate attitude is an annoyance to his coworkers but seeing as every game needs a first player, they make due.
First Appearance: Bonus Stage! Here comes Player One!

Damsel I. Distress

Whether it be a castle, a dungeon or mystical island, Damsel always needs to be saved... and she hates it. Damsel longs for the day when she's given the role of a strong female lead character who doesn't have huge breasts with hyper accurate physics.
First Appearance: LittleBIGPlanet

Final Boss

Underneath the huge brute that is Final Boss lies a timid creature who wouldn't hurt a fly. He puts on his "angry face" when throwing barrels down ramps or breathing fire but deep down he feels sorry for doing so. He's been known to throw a game or two in the player's favor.
First Appearance: World Record

John Minion

John Minion, or Min for short, is the hardest working employee at GameBizCo Inc. Playing everything from Goombas to no name thugs, Min gets beat up on a daily basis but loves every minute of it. He always wanted to work in the gaming industry and was originally hired as an intern. After years of getting coffee, his big break came when someone called in sick... and the rest is history.
First Appearance: Watchmen: The End is Nigh

Middle Manager

Middle Manager works in the Human Resources department. He runs staff meetings and interviews prospective employees. The other 90% of his time is spent playing Freecell on his computer.
