Edit: I'd prefer if you kept things Dr. Who specific. But in case you're anti-Who, I'll allow other famous time machines in the spirit of getting more submissions this week

The New Testament was written long after Jesus died. First couple of books are by his apostles and then...I don't know who wrote the rest. I read Thomas Jefferson's revised Bible, which he made with the intention of just having the teachings of Jesus and no magical mumbo jumbo. It was about 90 pages long. So no. There aren't many direct words from Jesus in the Bible. But he still plays a pretty big part so if you were to get a Bible signed, he would be the one to get it signed by.
Note: All this may actually be wrong. Just how I remember it off the top of my head. And I am a non-Christian btw, so if I got it wrong don't bitch at me. Opie will correct me.

Of course, the question becomes... which version of the Bible do you get the ole J-man to sign? And Van's probably right, if you were going to get the bible signed, the Apostles had more to do with its direct authorship, even though Christ's teachings were the inspiration. |
