Matriculated needs a Beach Episode

One of the many short Matriculated stories that I had in mind for future issues of Tales from the Pimp was a Spring Break story.

Seriously? Let's just do it as the next arc! i'd love to draw them in a completely different place (translation: Let's get the girls in bikinis.)

I'm pretty sure I've told you about that one before... but I'm not sure it'd work in strip format. It's paced differently than a normal arc is.

but if we were doing the strip 3 times per week....

EXCELLENT! My plan to get Matriculated to update 3x per week is slowly starting to work!

I mean, that's a great idea, Joe. Phil, you may want to consider that as an option.

Pacing and frequency are two different things and I don't think one necessarily compensates for the other. There are a lot of people out there doing "webcomics" but it's paced like a comic book but presented one page at a time. I don't think that's an optimal use of the medium.

Sometimes it compensates just fine, but I know what you mean.

So write a different beach story. It's not like we can do Spring break in the fall anyway. Make it a last trip to the beach for the summer story.

Yeah if you were going to do something like that I think it works better releasing it in chunks of 3 or 4 pages at a time ala freakangels.com. Even then you may find you're leaving yourself shy a page or two that you need to finish a particular scene.
